How much does it cost to hire a car?

Our daily hire rate is R 900 per day. A refundable cash deposit of R 3 000 is required at the time of collection. The deposit is fully refunded when the vehicle is returned in the same condition.

How many kilometres are included per day?

Accepted Answer

400 free kilometres are included per day. Any kilometres over 400 are charged at R 3 per km.

Question 3

What documents do I need to hire a car?

Accepted Answer

You will need: a valid South African ID, a valid driver's licence (both sides), proof of residence not older than 3 months, a recent payslip or proof of income, and two contact numbers.

Can I submit my documents online?

Yes. You can upload your documents directly on our Car Hire page under "Upload Your Documents". Alternatively, email them to maqimba01.xm@gmail.com or call 076 473 9434 to arrange submission.

Is the deposit refundable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the R 3 000 deposit is fully refundable in cash when you return the vehicle in the same condition it was hired in.

What vehicles are available for hire?

Accepted Answer

Our fleet includes Toyota Rush, Hyundai i20, VW Golf 5, VW Polo, Audi A4, VW Polo Vivo, Ford Figo, VW Golf 7 and VW Polo GTI — all at R 900 per day.

Can I hire a car without a payslip?

A payslip or proof of income is a standard requirement. If you are self-employed or have an alternative proof of income, please call us on 076 473 9434 to discuss your situation.

How do I confirm a booking?

Accepted Answer

Call us on 076 473 9434 or WhatsApp us to check availability. Once your documents are verified and the deposit is paid, your booking is confirmed.

What types of parts do you stock?

We stock engines, gearboxes, differentials, starters, alternators, suspension components, body panels, doors, bonnets, bumpers, lights, tyres, rims and much more — for all major vehicle brands.

Which vehicle brands do you carry parts for?

Accepted Answer

We carry parts for Toyota, VW, Hyundai, Ford, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Kia, Chevrolet, Mazda, Honda and more. If you don't see your make listed, call us — we may still have what you need.

Are your parts quality checked?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every part we sell is quality checked before it leaves our yard. We want you to get a part that works, not a part that causes more problems.

How do I enquire about a specific part?

Do you sell to the public or only to trade?

We sell to everyone — panel beaters, mechanics, workshops and the general public are all welcome at any of our 3 sites.

Do you buy damaged or accident vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We buy damaged cars, accident vehicles, write-offs and non-runners. Call Mr Mantengu on 076 473 9434 or 074 493 3528 for a quick quote.

What condition does the vehicle need to be in?

Accepted Answer

We buy vehicles in all conditions — accident damaged, stripped, non-running or written off. Give us a call and describe the vehicle and we'll make you an offer.

How quickly can you collect a vehicle?

Contact us on 076 473 9434 to arrange collection. We have an Isuzu 500 flatbed tow truck available.

Question 19

How do I pay for parts or car hire?

Accepted Answer

We accept EFT (bank transfer) and cash. The car hire deposit must be paid in cash. For EFT, use our banking details: FNB — Maqimba Used Motor Spares, Capitec, or FNB Holdings. Always use your name or vehicle registration as the payment reference.

Use your full name or vehicle registration number as the payment reference so we can match your payment quickly.

Question 21

Can I pay a deposit via EFT for car hire?

Accepted Answer

The car hire deposit of R 3 000 must be paid in cash at the time of collection. Parts and other payments can be made via EFT.
